Fish Fromage (1940)
Fish Fromage

1 Onion, chopped

1/2 pound American cheese, grated

2-1/2 pounds Pike or Bass

1-1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Mustard

1 teaspoon Salt

1/2 teaspoon Pepper

1 cup Milk

Spread onion and half the cheese over bottom of baking dish. Place fish on top and cover with remaining cheese. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over fish. Bake in hot oven (425 degrees F.) 25 to 30 minutes.

Serves 4.
